Moss Hill Hat
I love crocheting hats flat, its simple, quick, and to the point! This hat is worked in a wonderful textured stitch from side to side. A quick seam and gather and you’re all set to go!
Materials Needed
Approximately 140yds of a #4 Worsted Weight Yarn
US/J 6.0mm Hook
Stitch Markers
Tapestry Needle
Sizes Offered:
To fit: Child (Teen, Adult Woman, Adult Man)
Finished Hat Circumference: 18 (19, 21, 22) in.
Finished Hat Length: 7 (7, 8, 8) in. although adjustable
Gauge/Tension:
12sts and 7rows = 4in. square in seed stitch
Notes:
Hat is worked from side to side, to make hat longer simply ch a multiple of 2 sts until hat is desired length.
Hat is seamed from brim to crown, top of hat is then gathered and closed.
To make hat bigger or smaller in circumference, work more/less rows until hat is desired circumference.
