Moss Lace Shawl
For this shawl I only used two balls of sockyarn (Regia Uni in dark green). Because of this amount the shawl is more of a shawlette than a full body covering shawl, but I like them a bit smaller.
This is my first all over lace shawl!
The pattern is written in US crochet terms and has written instructions and charts, as well as adaptations.
With the pattern the shawl is easily customized to make a full covering shawl. The pattern repeat is quite easy and can be memorized quickly.
The shawl consists of three different parts and all parts can be used for a custom size shawl. No worries about needing to know how many groups of stitches you need!
After finishing, the shawl is a bit kite shaped but after blocking the shawl gets its full triangular shape, with curved sides. It measures 140 cm or 55` in wingspan. The blocking process will open up the pattern beautifully!
I would like to thank Tekkie for being the first Raveler to make this shawl, as of today (23rd of March) there is a revised version in the database of this shawl!
Update 01/01/2014: the pattern has been tested, reviewed and updated!! I would like to thank my testers over at the Free Pattern Testers Group!
