Moss Mitts
The moss mitts are a pair of fingerless gloves with an abstract pattern meant to look like the natural growth of moss on tree bark.
Suggested colorways
light green/dark green: moss
light brown/dark brown: wood
light blue/dark blue: water
red/orange: fire
black/white: just a cool abstract pattern :)
Size
Approximately 7” x 3.5” after blocking.
Yarn
Approximately 100 yards of two colors of fingering weight yarn (200 yards total).
Gauge
34-36 stitches = 4” (row gauge is less critical for this pattern)
Needles
2.25 mm (US 1) needles. Use a set of double pointed needles or a long circular needle for the magic loop method.
Notions
Tapestry needle to weave in ends.
Piece of scrap yarn.
