Use a textured moss stitch to knit a cuddly sheep and their little lamb. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, both toys are knitted in aran/worsted weight wool blend yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 4mm straight single pointed knitting needles (US 6).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Rowan Felted Tweed Aran in brown and Patons Wool Blend Aran in cream; aran/worsted weight wool blend yarns; up to 50g in each.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling and beads for eyes.

SIZES
One size only - the sheep is 12cm tall, and the lamb is 5cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
