This is a PDF pattern for a loosely fitting, comfy toque. Its easy and knits up quickly. Perfect for the beginner looking for a challenge. Using basic moss stitch in the round, this toque requires basic decreasing, with minimal finishing (no sewing). If you want to add a complimentary colour around the edges, it will require knowledge of a single crochet stitch. I’ll e-mail the pattern immediately after receiving payment.

I’ve used this yarn to make toques for everyone from my rock-climber brother to my snowboarder best friend. They use them for both extreme sports and everyday trips to the store from late fall to early spring. These are not wimpy folks and these are not wimpy toques, but they’re stylish enough for day to day wear. The yarn is warm, but the knit itself makes it breathable and perfect for hiking or jogging when you start to get a little bit cool.
