The colour and texture of the Wendy Aran Boucle with Wool yarn that I found in my Mum’s stash inspired me to make this cushion cover. I love the bouncy effect you get with moss-stitch, and this yarn makes it even more springy. The colours reflect the local countryside at this time of year (late Autumn).

The tension (gauge) I’ve specified is mine based on the finished cushion. Please do a tension swatch with your chosen yarn and change needle sizes or number of stitches accordingly if you need to. Or use a different sized cushion pad :-)

I used about 230g (about 500m) to make the cover, so maybe budget for a little bit more to allow for variations in tension and yarn types.

This is a really easy cover to make and it’s my first attempt at writing one up for Ravelry, so please let me know if you find any errors, or have any suggestions for how I could improve it.
