The idea for this beanie came from me wanting to make something original for my mother, but I couldn’t find a pattern I liked. So the search began. I had recently made a beanie that used a folded brim and I fell in love with it. I wanted something with some texture to it yet stretchy enough for a hat. This beanie uses a combination of Seed Stitch, Moss Stitch, and Bee Stitch. I used US size 7 4.5 mm 16” circulars, but you could just as easily use DPNS or Magic loop.
