Need some more whimsy in your life? Why not join the Teacup Fairy Garden KAL!

In my ideal world everything would be dripping with moss, we would all live in castles, and we would drink tea all day out of fancy teacups as we watched fairies flying! My mossy castles are inspired by Moomin’s wonderfully whimsical house and ancient Scottish castles with their fairy filled grounds. In order to keep it delightfully whimsical I decided to display my castle in a moss filled tea cup!

The castle is a quick, easy knit. It is knit in the round on dpns in 2 pieces and then sewn together. Embroidery is used for the windows and door.
Supplies: Stuffing, toothpicks (to help your castle stand), teacup and moss. If you don’t have a teacup they can be found pretty cheaply at 2nd hand stores. Moss can be found at some craft stores (in America I would try Joannes or Michaels). You can also display your castle in a low dish.
