NOTES ON CONSTRUCTION OF SAMPLE BLANKET.

Sample blanket was made using the “Mossy Malllow” Square.

For my SAMPLE I joined 20 blocks (4 x 5) with a tight join using SC. I used Bernat Bundle Up in Marshmallow to join my squares that were made using Caron Blossom Cakes in Tropical Blooms. A size K hook was used for both the squares and the joining.

I then went around the blanket with 1 round of Moss/Linen Stitch using Marshmallow then 1 round using Caron Blossom Cakes in Tropical Blooms and then back to 1 round using Marshmallow, making SC, chain 2, SC in each Corner for every round.

I finished it off with my ~~ Rick Rack Border ~~ Working on the foundation of Moss/Linen Stitch: SS, DC, SS worked in chain 1 space. Skip next stitch. SS in next chain 1 space. SS in next stitch. SS, DC, SS in next chain 1 space. Continue all around, making 2 SS, DC, 2 SS in EACH CHAIN 2 CORNER SPACE. SS = Slip Stitch.

Note: Because of the stitch count, I had to fiddle with the edging along BOTH SIDES. I ended up putting 2 SS in one additional chain 1 space right before the CORNER CHAIN 2 SPACE, then worked the CORNER. The TOP and BOTTOM spacing worked out fine.
