My hands are perpetually cold in the winter, but with all the knitting and typing I do, gloves just don’t work for me during the day. I’ve found that the perfect solution is fingerless mitts - they provide enough warmth to keep my hands toasty and don’t get in the way of my everyday life.

These mitts use a modified moss stitch that highlights gorgeous, variegated colourways and incorporates slipped stitches to break up any colour pooling. They also use an easy afterthought thumb, which makes this a simple first mitten project if they’re something you’ve been wanting to try.

Needles

3.75 mm (US 5) or size needed to obtain gauge DPNs or circular needles for preferred method of working small circumferences.
