A simple but effective pattern, this is perfect to show off a lovely skein of hand dyed sock yarn or a precious hank of handspun. Since it is worked from side to side, you can stop when you are satisfied with the size (or until your yarn runs out).

When choosing your hook size, make sure to use one that gives you a fair amount of drape. Blocking will most likely be required to even out your points. For this reason it’s a good idea to use a fibre that can be blocked without too much fuss.

Included is also a “small teeth” version which is suitable for heavier weight yarns such as worsted, aran, or even bulky.

A confident beginner should be able to make this shawl, but even experienced crocheters will enjoy making it. This unisex accessory is the perfect addition to any wardrobe… you may find yourself making one in every colour!

NOTE: The sample scarf made using the blue and orange variegated used the large teeth version and left the last 5 stitches unworked instead of 4.
