The first 3/4 of this pattern is pure laziness. You could knit it anywhere, no pattern, no measuring, just one long tube… work out the details later. They’ll be great for knitting while doing other things.

The last quarter is where you add easy after-thought heels, toes and cuffs. And where you decide who the socks should fit.

These socks are great for

• using up every last scrap of a precious yarn
• kids whose feet grow before you’re half-finished!
• Keeping the stripes or color pooling regular, at least
• knitting without needing to concentrate

Easily customized for different yarn weights and foot diameters.
