Pattern Notes

  • The finished piece is approximately 14” tall (excluding antennae) when made with the recommended tools and materials.
  • All parts of this pattern are worked using the yarn-over technique and in continuous rounds unless otherwise stated.
  • Stitches are described using US terminology/notation.
  • Parts of this pattern feature “partial rows” (denoted by R#-#). The last row in a series of partial rows will always overlap the previous row by one stitch (denoted by a stitch count of #+1). (For example, you may work a total of 15 stitches for the given row, but upon counting your stitches after completing that row, you will only see a total of 14 stitches.) It is strongly recommended that you use stitch markers to prevent lost stitches in these rows.
  • Stitches worked into chain stitches are worked in the back bar to prevent chain curling.
