You will need –
Yarn – DK
Yarn colours – colours of your choice
Crochet terminology – UK
Hook size – 3mm
Difficulty – beginner
Time to make – approximately 5 hours
Extra tools needed – scissors, stuffing, blocking pins, safety eyes, a darning needle
Stitch definition –
MR – Magic Ring
DC – Double Crochet
DEC – Decrease
ST – Stitch
SS – Slip Stitch
CH – Chain
HDC – Half Double Crochet
TR – Treble Crochet
MSH – Make Shell Stitch (7 Trebles in One Stitch)
SK – Skip
Tips for before you start –
- Always make sure that your colour changes are facing the back of your crochet project.
- Read the pattern thoroughly and note any colour changes.
- Pin on body parts before sewing on, making sure you’re happy with the positioning.
- You can have fun with changing your colours around to give your jellyfish’ a different personality.
