Mother koala loves her new baby. They spend their lazy days napping and munching on eucalyptus leaves in the Moss Mountain jungle.

Mother koala is between 3” and 4” high, depending on your hook and yarn of choice, and baby is between 2” and 3” high.

I like to use DK or sport weight yarn and a 3mm to 3.5mm hook, but feel free to play around with hook size and yarn weight to create koalas of different sizes.

Why not try using worsted or bulky yarn to make a bigger, huggable version of the pair for a baby gift?
