I made this project out of wire as it holds it shape well (important if you want the 3D effect). I also used 20 Swavoski crystals (4 yellow, 4 dark red and 4 light red). It ended up about 5 centimetres accross.

Please feel free to experiment with yarns, beads etc. I would love to see what you come up with.
