Moths to a Flame Fingerless Gloves
These fingerless gloves, or gauntlets, have a wonderfully textural lace pattern, part of which resembles the wings of a flying moth. This is not a very difficult lace pattern. You will need to know how to knit in the round, and pick up and knit stitches and make a provisional cast on.
These are knitted on size 3 dp needles. Frog Tree is a non-profit yarn seller, giving their proceeds to Bolivia (I think). Alpaca is nice to work with - soft, fluid, drapey, and this one comes in great colors. The color used is 31.
