The Moto Moto is a very oversized and cozy sweater. The name comes from Madagascar 2 because it’s big and chunky ;)
It’s a super quick and easy knit since it’s worked on 6 mm needles and there are no difficult techniques.
The body is worked from the bottom up in the round, then divided in 2 parts for the front and back and the sleeves are picked up from the sides of the body and worked in the round as well.
I chose a chenille yarn because it was gifted to me and I really like the super soft feeling it gives, but it would also look great in a chunky/textured alpaca/wool yarn.
In the pattern all the colour changes for the stripes are explained so you can knit it exactly like the photo or you can play with the colours and stripes and make it unique.
Sizes go from A to H with a circumference of 100 (110, 120, 130) 140 ( 150, 165, 180) cm, but consider around 30 cm of positive ease.
