I used Patons Kroy Sock Yarn 50 gm balls - 2 coal, 1 orangina, 1 whitecap & 1 mercury. Leftover sock yarn in white and gray can be used in place of full balls.

The given size fits average legs. However, you can easily add or subtract stitches in between the cycle logos.

A twined heel is given. Very clear directions and picture given of this type of heel. It adds extra padding & durability to the heel. You can also twine the toe if you like. This really adds to warmth if you ride in cooler weather.
