Moulin Rouge Mittens
The Can Can
Chorus with their jet net stockings
And their red heads rocking
Have brought their patrons flocking to the floor.
From “Toulouse-Lautrec at the Moulin Rouge“, by Jon Stallworthy.
This mitten pattern is based on the paintings of Toulouse-Lautrec of the exotic and erotic Moulin Rouge. A row of cancan dancers parades along the cuff, while a fishnet pattern decorates the palm.
The mittens require approximately 120 yards of main colour and contrast colour (both in fingering weight), a set of 5 DPNs in US 1 (2.25 mm), a tapestry needle, and scrap pieces of yarn.
All Foxberry Mitts patterns have been fully test-knit by the designer, and include full-colour charts along with instructions.
