Mount Tabor Beanie
The Mt. Tabor Beanie is a medium-weight, fitted beanie with a classic look that is great for any age or gender. It uses post stitches to create a diamond or harlequin type pattern against a background of extended single crochet, which gives a flatter, almost knit-like look compared to normal single crochet, and also makes it very stretchy.
The pattern is worked from the top down and includes a page and a half of reference photos at the end to demonstrate the more confusing stitches. Instructions are included for a messy bun hat, however you should still work the first 7 rounds of this pattern as a gauge swatch before working the messy bun variation in order to ensure proper sizing.
Due to the nature of patterns, no returns can be made; however I am happy to provide pattern support on ravelry or facebook, so please ask if you’re stuck!
