Worsted Weight Yarn
3.25mm crochet hook
6mm safety eyes - 1 pair for each character
Embroidery floss and/or sport weight yarn for embellishments
Poly-fil stuffing
Plastic Canvas - 1 small piece to reinforce bottom of mountains (optional)
Yarn needle, embroidery needle, straight pins, safety pin, scissors

Size
Gauge is not important to this pattern. The size of your finished product will vary depending on the size yarn and hooks you use. Made with the materials listed, the mountains measure about 4” tall (not including the volcano’s lava). Using a thinner yarn and smaller hooks will yield smaller items. Using thicker yarn and larger hooks will result in larger items. An individual crocheter’s yarn tension can also be a factor in sizing as well.

Pattern Notes
The pattern is written for advanced beginner to intermediate crocheters and beyond. The advanced beginner is familiar with making amigurumi and understands basic amigurumi crochet terminology and stitches as well as how to sew pieces together, finish off, hide ends, etc. Experience working with plastic canvas is also helpful.
