A lined beanie with a mountain pattern, using a provisional cast on.

This pattern instructs you how to convert a head measurement to the number of cast on stitches needed, so you can make it fit perfectly.

You will need:

  • 50 - 100g of your lining colour: I used DROPS Cotton Merino in Pistachio
  • 30 - 50g of each outer colour: I used DROPS Cotton Merino in Dark Green, Forest Green and Sea Green
  • 5x 3.5mm DPNs
  • a tapestry needle
  • an optional crochet hook, if that’s how you like to do your provisional cast on.

If you make the beanie and post it on Instagram, feel free to tag me (@bullfinchknitwear)! I’d love to see everyone’s projects :slightly_smiling_face:
