This cardigan is designed to be a simple straight forward knit with a little bit of lace work to make it look more interesting. I hope it’s as fun for you to knit as it was for me to write!

Sizing: Please note that these are the finished garment measurements. To determine size, use bust measurements with desired ease. I am wearing a size small with 2” of negative ease:
X-Small: 31.5”
Small: 36”
Medium: 40.5”
Large: 48”
X-Large: 52”

Materials:
Yarn: Worsted Weight Acrylic yarn. I used Studio Classic by Nicole, but any yarn that meets the gauge should work nicely.
Gauge: 18st and 26 rows/ 4” stockinette stich.
Needles: US8 both 32” circulars and DPNs, or any size that achieves gauge.
Notions: Stitch markers, darning needle, and waste yarn.

Pattern:
This cardigan is knit seamlessly from the bottom up, with the body knit first, and the collar picked up and knit afterwards. Sleeves will be knit midway through the body and attached as the body finishes. To make the body feel seamless, it may be preferred to knit the sleeves first so they are ready to attach when the body reaches the desired length. Charts are read right to left, bottom up. I have also provided written instructions under the charts for those that would prefer to read the instructions as opposed to visualizing the charts.
