Mountain Lake is a top-down seamless yoke sweater. The neckline forms a textured band with a combination of knit, purl and cables. It has a colourful geometric pattern around the yoke, followed by short rows across the back which help create a better fit. Mountain Lake has a deep hem with ribbing that features knit, purl and a few cable twists.

This pattern is available for knitting both short or long sleeves.

Suggested Needles
A: 3.5 mm (US 4) circular needles 40 cm / 16” long for neckline and cuff ribbing (using magic loop), and 80 cm / 32” circular needles for hem ribbing.
B: 4mm (US 6) circular needles 40cm / 16” long for yoke, and circular needles 80cm / 32” long for the yoke, body and sleeves (using magic loop, or substitute with dpn’s if preferred).
Adjust the needle size if necessary to get the correct gauge.

Gauge
22 stitches & 30 rows = 10cm / 4” in stocking stitch with needle size B, with one colour, knitted in the round, after blocking.

Ease
Recommended ease: 5-15cm / 2-6” positive ease.
Choose a size that is 5-15cm / 2-6” larger than your actual bust circumference.
