This pattern is designed for the specialty colorway in Spincycle Yarns made for the Black Mountain Yarn Shop. This colorway looks like the Blue Ridge Mountains you can see from the shop, so I wanted a scarf that would highlight the mountains the yarn was dyed for!

The subtle wavy pattern throughout the scarf reminds me of the rolling hills near Black Mountain, although it would look great in a blue yarn for an ocean theme.
