Bring home the magic of a Mountain Sunset in this unique and fun crochet pillow design. The pillow cover is made by crocheting two (2) squares that will then be stitched together to encase a pillow form. One square features the silhouette of mountain peaks and a sun setting (or moon rising). The second square features fun a fun striping pattern with a little checkerboard pattern to elevate the design. The striping can run horizontal or vertical giving your room the perfect look.

The construction of the pillow is crocheted using a unique stitch that I have used in many of my blanket designs. The stitch creates beautiful, even and nicely angled lines that elevate the colorwork within the color changes.

If you are new to crocheting color changes and feel a little intimidated, I offer a full course on exactly how to work my graph blankets and encourage you to check it out. It has over 3+ hours of video instructions and practice projects I’m sure you will enjoy. Find the course information here: https://sweetpotato3.com/changing-colors-online-crochet-c
