This fun and easy to knit unisex sweater is reminiscent of surfing and skateboarding styles of the eighties. The sleeves are knit ahead and then joined to the torso for an easy finish and flexible fit. It is worked bottom up and features a simple intarsia section across the chest and arms.
With 1-2 inches of positive ease,
XS fits a 28-30”/71-76cm chest
Small fits a 32-34”/81-86cm chest
Medium fits a 36-38”/91-96.5cm chest
Large fits a 40-42”/101.5-107cm chest
XL fits a 44-46”/112-117cm chest
2XL fits a 48-50”/122-127cm chest
Model is 5’11”/180cm, 165 lbs, wearing a size Medium.
You will need 7-9 skeins of main body color (Navy) and less than half of each of the contrast colors (gold, orange, red, dark red and deep purple).
The pattern recommends a size 6 circular needle, 32-40”/80-100cm, a size 3 circular of the same size, and small circumference needles for the sleeves and collar in both sizes.
