Mouse in a sweater
★ SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE+
★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS:
- Yarn
Adelia baby toy (nylon, 50g ~ 255m, near 50sc in 4 inches), gray color. And for the paws and sweater I used floss in 3 threads, colors pink and green.
Thin yarn white color to embroider semicircle beside the eyes. And black floss to embroider the nose and eyebrows.
- Hook №0.9 (0.9mm).
- Cotter pins and joint disks: I used the disks 10mm in diameter for the legs (4pcs), 8mm for insertion into the neck and 10mm into the head, O-head cotter pins (1.6х16mm - 2pcs, for legs), T-head cotter pin (1.6х16mm - 1pc, for the head), on such a small size you can do joint without washers.
- Wire 0.7mm thick: for the arms 1pc ~13cm long, for the legs 2pcs ~5cm long. I advise you to use steel wire (for example, floral wire, this wire is stiffer and holds its shape better).
- Fiberfill (to stuff)
- Glue eyes (3mm)
- To correct the fur a little, you will need a piece of soft Velcro
- Pince-nez: a piece of wire ~10cm, 0.6mm thick; a piece of chain 5cm long
- Needle, safety pins, scissors, adhesive tape, instant glue, thin stick (for the convenience of stuffing small parts).
★ SKILLS REQUIRED: You must have basic crochet. Also I added useful video lessons.
This pattern is easy to follow with step-by-step instructions (17 pages with detailed instructions and many photos illustrating the process + video lessons)
