Mouse on a Candlestick

This is a cute little model (15cm) of a mouse peeping around a candle on the candlestick. Only relatively small amounts of yarn are needed. I have used wool specifically for the mouse because if gives a satisfyingly furry effect (you could even brush it out with a wire brush for an even more furry look). For the rest of the model you will probably find you already have suitable yarn.

For the mouse, I have used 4mm beads for the eyes and the base of the candlestick has a jar lid 8.5cm, sandwiched between the crochet for rigidity.

This project really does not take too long to make and makes a really adorable gift.
