Should you hit a snag or need additional help, I’ll always be an email or a direct message away. Your crafting success is my priority.

The completed craft measures in at an adorable 12 cm (or 4.7 inches). To achieve this, you’ll need to use the specified yarn type and wooden ring size.

Here’s a simple checklist of what you need:

  • 100% Cotton yarn in the color of your choice (50g/125m or 1.75Oz/137yds)
  • 2mm and 2.5mm crochet hooks
  • A wooden ring with a diameter of 60-70mm (preferably crafted from beech wood)
  • Fiberfill for stuffing the toy
  • Optional rattle insert
  • Safety eyes that are 8-9mm in diameter
  • Sewing needle and scissors

Your pattern will include abbreviations for ease of understanding. Some of these include:

  • Beg - beginning
  • Ch - chain
  • Cont - continue
  • Dec - decrease (sc2tog)
  • Inc - increase (2sc in one stitch)
  • Rep - repeat
  • Rnd - round
  • SC - single crochet
  • SL st - slip stitch
  • St(s) - stitch(es)

For sequences to be repeated, the format would be: ( ) * n – which means you’ll need to repeat the content of the parentheses for the number of times stated after them.
