Mouse is the symbol of 2020 Chinese Lunar New Year.

The finished toy is approximately 6,3 inches (16 cm) tall.

The toy is knitted in the round and that is why the pattern is recommended for Advanced Beginner Knitters.

Abbreviations

K = knit
P = purl
Sts = stitches
Kfb = knit into front and back of stitch
K2tog = knit 2 together
CO = cast on
RND = round

Materials needed

• 4 double-pointed needles size US 2 (3 mm).
• 30 gr lilac and 10 gr white colored yarn. I used Alize Angora Gold /10% mohair, 10% wool, 80% akrylic; 100 gr – 550 mt./ 3 theads held together yarn weight - Aran
• 10 gr yellow yarn for cheese. DMC Natura Just Cotton Medium yarn / 100% Cotton; 50 gr (1.7oz) – 75 m (82yds)./ Yarn weight - Aran
• Toy stuffing
• Yarn needle
• Stitch marker
• White buttons
• Black beads for eyes (4 mm)

All rows are worked in the round, this helps avoid ugly seams.
