Sometimes you need a little lace fling. Something small and quick to either try knitting lace for the first time, or to use up that last little bit of lace weight you have left. This collar is a perfect, portable lace summer knit. I think everyone needs a little Mouseling, or two!

Mouseling is started with one icord tie, then knit seamlessly into the lace collar. After the lace repeats you bind off most of the stitches and then finish off with another icord tie.

Pattern is both charted and written, allowing those who are unfamiliar with knitting from charts or knitting lace the opportunity to switch between the two.

The common House Mouse is usually not a solitary creature, where there is one usually another isn’t too far behind. As with mice, so goes Mouseling. If you purchase Mouseling, you will receive $2.00 off of the soon to be release MouseFling which is a crescent shawl in 3 sizes knit from side to side.
