A pair of fingerless mitts with an easy to assemble button band that turns it into a sleek and unique knit. I used sportweight yarn because I wanted something fast and this took almost no time at all while also being warm in different seasons.

I love buying interesting buttons (boutons) and when I started having a button stash that was going to rival my yarn stash- I decided that it was time for me to find a way to start using some of these buttons.

This is an easy pattern to size up or down by changing the CO or needle size. I have knitted this pair of mitts for 7 different hand sizes just by adjusting the CO.

Skills Needed: Cast on, Bind off, knit, purl, make 1, k2tog, ssk, picking up stitches.
