I knit a mustache for my son for him to play with (read: chew on, as he is 5 months old), but also to show support for the Movember campaign and focus on prostate cancer research and men’s health.

I used 3mm/US 2 1/2 DPNs and a small amount of fingering weight scrap yarn. Use thicker yarn and needles for a larger mustache (and perhaps stuff it with fluff), and thinner yarn for a smaller mustache.

My mustache is 15 cm/6 inches long.
