You know how some days, you just want to curl up on the couch and have a movie night? And then maybe you want to crochet a little something to keep those fidgety hands at bay, but you want a really easy pattern to follow so you don’t have to miss your movie counting stitches or back-tracking the pattern to troubleshoot an error?

We all have days like that. This is the product of one of mine: a super fast, super easy, slightly asymmetrical shawl that is open and drapey and very snuggly.

I used fingering weight yarn and an H hook, but you can use any yarn you like--any weight--as long as your hook is a few sizes bigger than is generally called for with that yarn so it can retain its drape. Put on two or three of your favorite movies, and have a neat little shawl after the final credits roll!
