As of the pattern release I was able to source all the Lion Brand yarn at Joann’s in the USA except for the Scheepjies Catona which I bought online through Wool Warehouse (international shipping) but is also available from other online retailers such as yarn.com. I was able to make one doll using a skein of the glow-in-the-dark yarn but one was not quite enough for both of them so I recommend buying two balls which is plenty enough for the set. The black for the hat and cheeks should be fingering or sport weight (not worsted like the white glow-in-the-dark yarn) as it needs to be smaller than the body to account for the size difference in how the hat sits on the head. The body is easy to modify if you would like to make them look different. I played with the sizing on the male and crocheted 3 rows of 18 and 4 rows of 24 to make him more stout. Have fun! Enjoy!
