Materials you will need to make this toy:

Worsted weight yarns in white, black, dark brown and light brown (for Mr. Snail) and light yellow and fuchsia for Mrs. Snail
Knitting needles - US SIZE 4 or 5
mattress needle
Polyester or cotton for stuffing

In order to be able to make this toy, you will need to know basics of knitting and very basics of embroidery:
Casting on and off, Knit, purl, increase, bar increase (i.e. knit front and back), knit two stitches together, purl 2 stitches together.

The toy is around 10 inches in width and around 7 inches in height (the size of the toy depends on the size of the yarn and knitting needles as well as on how tightly you are knitting)
