My husband frequently finds himself in the snow and ice. We live in Utah where it is very cold, and he doesn’t like wearing bulky hats or jackets so I wanted to make him something warm but not too bulky so I came up with this warm classic pattern.

You will need 2 strands of size 4 yarn and a 6.5mm hook for an extra-large, use a smaller hook for smaller sizes. I use the same skein of yarn and go at it from both ends.
