Fans of NBC’s “The Blacklist” will recognize Mr. Kaplan as Red Reddington’s “cleaning lady”. Enigmatic and understated, Susan Blommaert’s character has formidable skills in forensics, marksmanship, ballistics analysis, negotiation, and logistics. Her signature camel-colored coat and black handbag inspired this scarf. The stripes spell Mister Kaplan in binary code using camel for the zeros and black for the ones. Just for fun the one stripes (black) have a garter texture. The binary alphabet is included so you can create your own coded message. While we wait for Mr. Kaplan’s back-story, enjoy some stealthy spy-appropriate knitting.
