Shopping your stash is the most enjoyable, convenient and inspiring way to enjoy this project. The Mraba Granny Blanket uses worsted weight yarn in 5 colours. You will need approximately 485 yards for the squares and 100 yards for the border.
The main pattern final size is 40 by 40” but more information has been provided in the PDF download on adjustments you’ll need to make for an additional 7 blanket sizes.

Materials:
• Approximately 583 yards Worsted Weight yarn in 5 colours
• 5 mm crochet hook
• darning needle
• scissors
Stitches and terms used:
• ch= chain
• sl st= slip stitch
• sc= single crochet
• dc= double crochet
• dc2tog= double crochet 2 together
Yarn alternatives: Any worsted weight, or 8 ply yarn should be suitable for this design.
Gauge: Using 5mm crochet hook and worsted weight yarn 14 sts & 7 rows in dc= 4”
Size: Using the materials and instructions, one complete granny square (7 rows) measures approximately 7.5 inches. Final measurements of the blanket are approximately 40 by 40 inches.
