Mrs. Carson's Tweed
The Wintery palette uses Malabrigo and Sweet Georgia yarns. The Summery palette uses Plucky Knitter’s Sophisticate in Melba and Lake Placid.
Style
Diagonally knit scarf with a self icord trim. The tweed look is formed by slipping stitches and alternating rows of color. It’s a very simple technique that produces a great look. Triangle shape.

Yarn
For the Main Color I used Sweet Georgia’s Tough Love Sock, Blackberry 80% Superwash Wool, 20% Nylon 4oz. 425 yds. 2 skeins ( you will use 1 full skein and about 100 yds of the next skein)Contrast Color 1: Malabrigo Sock , Persia 440 yds. 3.5 oz. 1 skein Contrast Color 2: Malabrigo Sock, Turner 440 yds. 3.5 oz. 1 skein

Tape measure
Tapestry Needle
Needles - # 6 needle circular needle 32-40” to accommodate all of the stitches.
Please remember that after knitting up your swatch, your needle size may change.
Gauge
6 stitches = 1” or 20 sts. = 4” in Stockinette Stitch using a #6 needle
