Behind every good man is a good woman, at least that is what I was taught growing up. So in my mind, Santa Claus has a really good woman working behind the scenes for him.

She’s warm and cuddly and an excellent cook. She has just baked a cherry pie ready for Santa to arrive home after his Christmas Eve, very long night shift.

She’s not too difficult to knit. You’d only need basic stitch knowledge i.e. knit, purl, stocking stitch, garter, cast off etc.

She is knitted flat using 3mm needles and DK yarn. I’ve given her a lovely pair of glasses and have included a link within the pattern to the ones I used.

You will also need:
2 x 10mm Black Domed Buttons for Eyes
10cm (4’’) cardboard circular disc and a 16cm (6’’) oblong piece of cardboard
Toy Stuffing
Fabric Glue
Strong Hold Hair Spray
Clear Elastic Hair Bands
