The Mrs. Claus Towel Topper is a free crochet pattern on my blog.

My easy crochet Mrs. Claus begins with two panels of single crochet worked in a perfect single crochet circle. For her face I am using some color work - cream for her face and white for her hair. I am using the tapestry color work method for the face.

I am using a “hidden” 3” craft ring that is crocheted into the back panel allowing the towel to be removable for easy washing.

There are 3 hair pieces that are crocheted separately and then sewn to the front panel to create a 3 dimensional look. Sew on two cheeks and embroider the smile to the front panel to complete her sweet face.

The two panels are crocheted together after the face and hair details are added to the front panel.
