this muff was inspired by “meet me in st louis” (the mgm musical) and an old picture of my great aunt fan.

it has an internal “pocket” for your hands, and the outside is knit in a pattern of two different cables; there is a matching scarf (the muff Muffler) that has yet another cable. gauge isn’t crucial, but you may find you need larger needles than i do.

basic techniques you need to know for this project: cabling, grafting, i-cord, picking up stitiches, increasing and decreasing. there is a small amount of seaming as well.
