Mug Rugs
The Knitted Rug Mugs pattern makes two knitted ‘rug mug’ coasters (one in a ribbed stitch pattern, one in a seed stitch pattern). These patterns are designed as a way to use up your leftover yarn from bigger projects!
SKILL LEVEL: Easy.
SUGGESTED MATERIALS: Approximately 60 stitches of loop yarn, any brand, for EACH mug rug (each rug is 56 stitches, plus a bit extra to cut open loops and tie off your ends) (Rugs in the sample image are Lion Brand Crayola Off The Hook in ‘Magenta’ and Red Heart Loop-It in ‘Gray-vy’).
SUGGESTED TOOLS: No knitting needles required (finger knitting). Scissors.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 5”-6” (12.5-15 cm) wide by 6”-7” (15-17.5 cm) long, depending on the brand of loop yarn used.
