Mulberry Pie is a seamless, raglan sleeve cardigan knitted from the bottom up. It features integrated garter stitch bands (so no sewing or picking up stitches is required) and a slip stitch motif in a contrasting colour in the lower border, forming little “mulberries”. No stranding is used.

The pattern is for use with fingering weight or light sport weight yarn and is in five sizes, from newborn to 2 years (0 - 3, 3 – 6, 6 – 12, 12 – 18 and 18 – 24 months), with positive ease included. Detailed instructions and a schematic diagram are included and all measurements are given in both metric and imperial.

The body is knitted flat in rows. The sleeves are knitted in the round.
