Mulligan Stew oddments jumper
Here’s a chance to use up all those small amounts of leftover yarns! This little stashbuster jumper can be knit from short lengths of yarns, combined into two colour mixes.
And while the colourwork looks intricate, it’s quite easy: only one colour is worked per row!
For the ribbed edging, a slightly larger amount of a single colour is needed, whereas the outline colour (around the dots) can be a single one as well, or, again, a combination of oddments.
You can use any aran weight yarn or combination of thinner yarns that will yield a gauge of 18 sts x 27 rs. Linen, cotton, wool, silk or rayon, shiny or matt are all fine and will add to the interest of the fabric; only very fuzzy yarns such as angora or long-haired mohair should be avoided.
The fit is figure-hugging with a flattering scoop neck and a very slim sleeve. Should you prefer a wider sleeve, go one size up for sleeve and armhole directions (option not available for size XL).
You will need up to 250 grams for the first colour mix, up to 200 grams for the second one, up to 200 grams for the outline colour and up to 100 grams for the ribbing.
