This v front vest can be made for chests measuring 40” / 102 cm - 54” / 137 cm as either a cardigan or a pullover, with either moss stitch, garter stitch or rib stitch borders, neck and armhole bands. It can be knitted in any weight from aran to bulky using a larger needle for the stockinette and needles two sizes smaller for the borders and bands - the recommended needle sizes for the stockinette sections are from US 7 / 4.5 mm to US 10.5 / 6.5 mm.
