CONSTRUCTION NOTES
For a project like this it is obvious to use remnants. Even small remnants can be used, as it gives the plaid a nice look to play with tone on tone shades within each square. On the other hand it creates harmony and coherence to repeat one colour in some of the squares, on the edges and when knitting together. Combine Isager remnants in Tvinni, Highland and Alpaca 2 with a couple of 50 g skeins and approx. 110 g for edges and knitting together. Work with 2 threads held together throughout.

Isager Highland 50 g col Sand and 15 g col Stone
50 g Isager Alpaca 2 col 46

One square weighs approx. 12 g.

For a 140 x 200 cm plaid use approx. 1500 g yarn. For a plaid similar to the one shown in the photo use 300 g Isager Tvinni col 13s for some of the squares, edges and knitting together. Tvinni col 3s, 7s, 12s, 25s, 40s, 42, 52s, 60s and Isager Alpaca 2 col 46 are also used.

TENSION
21 st x 44 rows = 10 x 10 cm in garter ridges on 4 mm needles using 2 threads held tog

Recommended NEEEDLES
4 mm and 3.5 mm circular, 80 cm for edges and knitting together
(For the large plaid 100 or 120 cm long circular are needed for edges and knitting tog)
